Little Porker!
Took the Puglet to get weighed today. He now weighs 10lb 9oz, so has gained 3lb 3oz in 1 month. Didn't like the vet nurse very much though. Started lecturing us on what Winston should and should not be eating.
She also said that when he is fully grown he should be on a light diet! Erm excuse me this is Winston not Bertie! Winston is a very active little man and runs everywhere he goes. He also plays with his tennis balls - something Bertie never ever did - and loves his green beans and carrots!
Rant over. More piccies to follow soon!

Not again!
Winston went swimming again yesterday but this time it was in our big pond. He really frightened himself this time and now won't go out to do his business on his own.
To prevent any further swimming misadventures, his life jacket is on it's way..........

Busy few days
Winston has been very busy the last few weeks. Last week he went for his 2nd set of innoculations and was weighed.
The little porker weighed 7lb 7ozs but he was very good and sat beautifully on the scales whilst he was weighed.
Yesterday he went for his very first big boy walk and then later on went for another walk with Suzanne.
He was pooped today but then even more excitement - he had his first bath.......
He had to. The noggin fell into the pond this afternoon after being told not to stand on the side...... Poor little man scared himself though and was not too keen on going out on his own for a little while but all is back to normal.

The first 24 hours
To say the last 24 hours have been boring is an understatement!
Where is the off switch!
Today:
Got up at 6.30am, played with dad before he went to work, tried to chew mum's shoes, had a play with my big sister, went and had a sleep.
Get up after a 20 minute power nap and play.
Then continues the following routine.......
Sleep, play, sleep, FOOD! (scrambled egg yum yum), sleep, play, sleep, play, sleep, FOOD! cuddle with mum, sleep, play.......
I must say though Winston is very good at going potty on the pad.
He has also decided that getting into bed via the front is boring and has tried and succeeded a few times to jump over the side.....

Winston is coming home!!!!!
Spoke to Winston's breeder yesterday who has said that Winston will be ready to come home on Wednesday! The breeder may have to go into hospital at the end of the week so he wants the puppies to be in their new homes before he has to go in.
Winston's favourite toy at the minute is an empty bottle.
Let the count down begin!

Update on Winston
We spoke to the breeder yesterday afternoon who has been looking after Winston, who is pleased to report that he is doing well and that he is a very handsome little man. Next week Winston will get his first set of vaccinations and then a few days later he will get his microchip and then for the next big adventure in his life.......coming home to live in Milton!
